Here is my song for the asking A toast to the ghost of the person that I used to be Here are some words everlasting All I am & All that I see Goodbye my little pal Well you’re not so little anymore Goodbye my closest friend I’ll walk you to the door Part of you lives inside me Here is my song for the taking Here is my heart for the breaking Know that I know you will make some mistakes along the way Here are the ones unforsaking Waiting here & turning old & gray (Repeat Chorus) Here is my world for the living Here is my love for the giving These pitiful words can’t begin to express how I feel So here is my song for the asking All I am & all that I see Goodnight my little pal Well you’re not so little anymore Goodnight my special friend I’ll walk you to the door Part of you will never leave

There’s a sound I really love to hear It always seems to blow my mind The infinite stream of mediocrity the music of the freak parade The dialog of the Neanderthals See the monkey scream & shout Tell me what the answer is cuz I wanna know the truth Everyone seems to know it al but nobody has a clue Some dysfunctional philosophy The product of a poison mind The merry-go-round of pure hyprocrisy There’s always something goin’ on The truth is spoken surreptitiously We live in cataclysmic times There’s information everywhere but nuthin’ is really new U believe what u gotta believe but nobody has a clue I could be speaking euphemistically It’s gonna be a bumpy ride Better begin to learn to meditate Sit down & strap yourself in tight When matter & anti-matter have a full head-on When freaks & lunatics collide Show me what the answer is cuz I wanna know the truth Everyone seems to know it al but nobody has a clue

about

This CD is actually one phase of a
double CD project. Over the past
few years, I wrote and recorded too
much material to fit onto one CD,
and the nature of the material
seemed to fit into two, distinct
categories: This one is more
cross-genre...rock, blues, funk and
soul, featuring vocals. The other CD,
“Samurai Werewolves From Mars”,
is modern/traditional jazz, and is
mostly instrumental.
It is my sincere wish that you will
enjoy listening at least half as much
as I enjoyed creating. Please spread
the word, and keep looking up!
Cheers! JP
